10 Days Mount Kailash Pilgrimage Itinerary Summary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu – Timmure
Arrive in Kathmandu, meet our representative, and enjoy a scenic drive to Timmure. Check into a guesthouse and relax for the night.
Day 02: Timmure – Kyirung (Tibet) (B/L/D)
Cross the Nepal–Tibet border via Rasuwagadhi, complete immigration formalities, and continue to Kyirung. Enjoy free time to explore the local market before an overnight stay.
Day 03: Kyirung – Saga (B/L/D)
Journey across the Tibetan Plateau via Kyirung High Pass, admiring spectacular Himalayan views, Peiku Tso Lake, and the Brahmaputra River before reaching Saga.
Day 04: Saga – Lake Mansarovar (B/L/D)
Travel through breathtaking Tibetan landscapes to the sacred Lake Mansarovar. Witness your first majestic view of Mount Kailash and enjoy the peaceful lakeside surroundings.
Day 05: Lake Mansarovar – Darchen (B/L/D)
Perform a symbolic holy bath and puja at Lake Mansarovar before driving to Darchen, the gateway to the sacred Mount Kailash Kora.
Day 06: Mount Kailash Kora – Dirapuk (B/L/D)
Begin the first day of the sacred 52km Kailash Outer Kora, trekking from Yama Dwar to Dirapuk while enjoying breathtaking views of Mount Kailash.
Day 07: Dirapuk – Dolma La Pass – Zuthulpuk (B/L/D)
Undertake the most challenging day of the pilgrimage, crossing the sacred Dolma La Pass (5,670m) via Yamasthal and Shiva-sthal before descending to Zuthulpuk.
Day 08: Complete Kailash Kora – Saga (B/L/D)
Complete the final section of the Kailash Parikrama before driving back across the Tibetan Plateau to Saga.
Day 09: Saga – Kyirung (B/L/D)
Enjoy a scenic return journey to Kyirung with panoramic views of Tibet’s stunning landscapes and mountain scenery.
Day 10: Kyirung – Kathmandu – Departure (B/L/D)
Drive back to Kathmandu, transfer to the airport, and board your onward flight home with unforgettable memories of the sacred Mount Kailash pilgrimage.
