Day 1: Arrival – Colombo – Anuradhapura
Arrive at Colombo International Airport and journey to the ancient city of Anuradhapura. Visit the sacred Sri Maha Bodhi Tree and the historic Isurumuniya Temple before checking into your hotel.
Day 2: Anuradhapura – Jaffna
Travel to the vibrant city of Jaffna. Explore the bustling Jaffna Town and Market, and visit the renowned Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil, one of the most important Hindu temples in Sri Lanka.
Day 3: Jaffna City Tour
Spend the day discovering Jaffna’s rich cultural heritage, historical landmarks, colonial architecture, and local attractions while experiencing the unique traditions of Northern Sri Lanka.
Day 4: Jaffna – Dambulla – Sigiriya
Travel south to visit the UNESCO-listed Dambulla Cave Temple, home to magnificent Buddhist murals and statues. Continue to the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress for a scenic photo stop at the legendary “Fortress in the Sky.”
Day 5: Dambulla – Matale – Kandy
Visit the famous Spice Gardens in Matale and enjoy a relaxing herbal massage demonstration. Continue to Kandy for a city tour featuring the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, Upper Lake Drive, and visits to a Gem Museum, Silk Gallery, and Wood Carving Factory.
Day 6: Kandy – Colombo
Return to Colombo and enjoy free time to relax, explore the city, or indulge in shopping at your own pace before your overnight stay.
Day 7: Colombo – Departure
Enjoy a comprehensive Colombo City Tour featuring Fort, Davatagaha Mosque, Colombo Museum, Natural History Museum, Lotus Tower, BMICH, the Avukana Buddha replica, and Independence Square before transferring to Colombo International Airport for your onward flight with unforgettable memories of Sri Lanka.
