5 Days 4 Nights Nepal Buddhist Pilgrimage Highlights
Day 1: Arrival – Kathmandu
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport and begin your spiritual journey with a half-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. Visit the sacred Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Kathmandu Durbar Square, Kumari Ghar, and the revered Kal Bhairab before checking into your hotel.
Day 2: Kathmandu Cultural Heritage Tour
Discover Nepal’s rich spiritual heritage with visits to the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, the magnificent Boudhanath Stupa, and the UNESCO-listed Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Enjoy the evening at leisure to explore the city at your own pace.
Day 3: Kathmandu – Lumbini
Fly to Bhairahawa and travel to the holy birthplace of Lord Buddha in Lumbini. Explore the Sacred Garden, Maya Devi Temple, Ashoka Pillar, Puskarini Pond, and the Monastic Zone, one of the world’s most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites.
Day 4: Lumbini – Kathmandu
Visit the ancient archaeological and religious sites of Tilaurakot and Kudan, closely associated with the early life of Prince Siddhartha Gautama, before returning to Kathmandu for an evening of leisure.
Day 5: Patan – Departure
Explore the UNESCO World Heritage city of Patan, renowned as the “City of Artisans.” Visit Patan Durbar Square, Krishna Mandir, Patan Museum, Hiranya Varna Mahavihar, Mahaboudha Temple, Kumbheshwor Temple, and other historic landmarks before enjoying free time for last-minute shopping and transferring to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward flight with cherished memories of Nepal’s spiritual and cultural treasures.
